Judge Caught Filing Fake Charge on NRI

India has a long standing record of seeking financial investment from those Indians who stay in foreign countries. These NRI’s have a tendency to save their money abroad and invest in property back home and this keeps the economy strong. However, this is all beginning to change as India now has started targeting NRI’s and planting fake charges on them. This case has been highlighted around the world by the illegal arrest and detainment of British citizen Jagtar Singh Johal. Here we see how a judge has used his power and authority to plant a charge against a Canadian citizen who had returned to India to attend a funeral of a family relative. The incident relates to a traffic incident in which the judge was not happy with the behavior of the NRI and had punjab police arrest the man and had false charges filed against him to silence him.
